A great opportunity has arisen to join a leading manufacturing company on an initial 6 month basisJob Description 1 Liaising with other engineers to develop plans that improve production, costs, and labor required2 Diagnosing problems in the production line and providing recommendations and training.4 Analysing all facets of production and making recommendations for improvement.5 Setting up and recording working procedures and documentation8 Carryout time and motion study to ensure validify production routes9 Remove waste from the processes10 Carry out FMEAs, (Failure Mode Effects Analysis) process documentation and implement improvements12 Carryout time and motion study to ensure routing operations are accurate13 Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems15 Improve manufacturing efficiency by analysing and planning work flow, space requirements and equipment layout16 Poka Yoke (error proofing) where possible to prevent errors and defectsBeneficial Skills & Experience:Mapping of processes Manufacturing environment experience Completing time & motion studiesAdvertised salary is per annum, this position will be pro-rated for the initial 6 months
