Pest Control Technician – Stafford Salary – Excellent Rate (Depending on Experience) + Overtime + Bonus RSPH Level 2 Qualification (Preferred) 8 hour shift - Monday to Friday - Overtime The Client Our client are a highly successful business who have over 40 years of experience and is part of a growing global organisation which offers a complete Integrated Pest Management Service. The business provide service for a variety of market sectors that include residential, public sector and local authorities, food manufacturing, property management, healthcare, distribution / transport and logistics, retail, education and the hospitality industry. There comprehensive range of pest control services, includes rodent control, bird control, insect control and wildlife management. They cover everything from technical inspections and routine preventative visits to pest-proofing, clearance works, the removal of pest contaminated waste and heat treatment services. The Role The company are currently looking to recruit customer facing Level 2 Qualified Pest Control Technicians. Experience within this field is essential for this position. The right candidates will have a minimum of one years experience and RSPH Level 2 qualification. You’ll be at the sharp end of the service for commercial, residential and government properties where you'll be visiting the customers across your area to make inspections and carry out treatments, as well as promoting additional work if the opportunity arises. Main duties Inspect customer premises and provide written reports on levels of pest infestation to determine the most effective solution to eradicate the pests Organise and undertake a programme of treatments using pesticides to control pests Record all visits to customers via our smartphone app Any other “ad hoc” duties as required by the needs of the business Previous Knowledge and Experience Full Clean UK Drivers Licence RSPH Level 2 Qualified Good communication skills written and verbal Live within a 20 mile radius of the area advertised The ability to work effectively and independently with minimal supervision.
