OSG Perm Nights, HMP Erlestoke, Ongoing temporary, Monday-Friday Your new company You will be working for HMP Erlestoke as an OSG. HMP Erlestoke is a Category C closed Adult male prison. Your new role Your role of an OSG will be to carry out security and support practices for operational purposes on the night shift. You will be required to work on a wing and carry out standard checks.Although you will not be required to manage and maintain prisoners you will see them on site. Other duties include: - Checking & searching visitors - Radio handling - Stores duties - Patrolling perimeter and grounds - Routine administrative work - Contractor tool checks - Searching buildings - Canteen and kit exchange duties - Health & Safety procedures - Radio operation Perm nights 7 on and 7 off- 12 hr shifts with 1 hour lunch, £14.66 per hour inclusive of holiday. What you'll need to succeed The ideal candidate will have security experience and strong communication skills. You will also need to have the relevant documents required for the clearance procedure and be able to give satisfactory references upon request.
