OSG / Contractor Escort - HMP FULL SUTTON - Temporary - £9.77 p/h including hols OPERATIONAL SUPPORT GRADE / CONTRACTOR ESCORT TEMPORARY ROLES BASED AT HMP FULL SUTTON Temporary Operational Support Grade (OSG) HMP Full Sutton Nr Pocklington Long-term Temporary Contracts. £9.77 per hour inclusive of Holiday Pay. As the sole agency supplier to the HM Prison Service for the provision of maintenance trades & support operatives, Hays is seeking to recruit Operational Support Grades (OSGs) for HMP Full Sutton near Pocklington. Immediate starts, if you are already (CTC) Prison Cleared. CTC clearances can take 4-6 weeks The roles are 37 hours per week Monday - Friday Hours: Mon - Fri 7:45am - 4:45pm Duties include: Escorting external contractors around the site safely, completing tool checks upon entry and exit of the prison, watching over the contractors whilst they are working, escorting them for breaks, checking ID No formal qualifications or previous experience is required for this role. The nature of the OSG role requires candidates to be security conscious and able to challenge potential compromises and risks, you will also need to be reliable and consistent, level headed and have exceptional interpersonal skills. Successful applicants will have a background in customer services or security, and will be assessed based on the following competencies: Acting with integrity, respecting others, Building relationships and team working, communicating effectively, developing self and others. Full training is provided by the establishment/ department. Training time will be paid at the standard hourly rate. Security Clearance required Immediate start if you are already Prison Cleared. All applicants will be subject to the HM Prison Service Security Clearance procedure which can take up to 2 weeks, this can include a Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check. You must hold a Valid Passport or Birth Certificate & Photo Driving Licence in your current address. All applicants must be able to provide details of 2 satisfactory references, at least one from an ex-employer.
