Operations Manager (Infrastructure), GAS mains replacement in Central Lancashire The client is a successful civil engineering company providing utilities infrastructure for Gas, Water and Electric to leaders in the utilities sector. Due expansion, an exciting opportunity has arisen to join their ever-growing team of professionals within their Gas utilities division. The role is for an Operations Manager based in their Preston Depot and working across the Lancashire region on the replacement of Gas mains. Responsibilities +bull;Reporting to the Operations Director +bull;Responsible for the overall Delivery of Regional Project(s) To include, but not limited to;- +bull;Safe and productive operational delivery of all Operational Projects. +bull;Liaison and co-ordination with the CMO and Cadent GAS. +bull;Ensuring all Projects are fluid throughout for Operational Teams, including the receipt and distribution of R.O+rsquo;s. +bull;Programming and co-ordinating with the St Works Team to Align Permits and Notices. +bull;Directing and supporting Site Managers. +bull;Delivering on SLA+rsquo;s including the Associated Reinstatement within the Public Highway, and Private properties. Experience: +bull;Graduate in a Project Management/Operations management or construction related topic. +bull;5 years minimum of experience working in a similar role within the Civil Engineering industry. +bull; GASMains Replacement specific experience essential, CP (Competent Person) and or A.E Status preferable. SCO 1,2 and 5 preferable. +bull;Be of a practical and logical mindset and a methodical way of thinking. +bull;Creative and innovative approach to problem solving. +bull;Negotiation and team work skills and the ability to motivate and lead those on site. +bull;Track record of working with tight budgets and deadlines. +bull;Time-management, workload planning. +bull;Exemplary verbal and written communication abilities with good interpersonal skills.
