On behalf of our client a civil engineering company providing utilities infrastructure services to leaders in the utilities sector, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join their growing team as a Gas Operations Manager! Having just won a new framework this is a key role within the company you will be supporting senior members of our business to ensure the success of this framework.Responsibilities * Reporting to the Operations Director * Responsible for the overall Delivery of Regional Project(s)To include, but not limited to;- * Safe and productive operational delivery of all Operational Projects * Liaison and co-ordination with the CMO and Cadent GAS * Ensuring all Projects are fluid throughout for Operational Teams, including the receipt and distribution of R.O’s * Programming and co-ordinating with the St Works Team to Align Permits and Notices * Directing and supporting Site Managers * Delivering on SLA’s including the Associated Reinstatement within the Public Highway, and Private propertiesExperience * Graduate in a Project Management related topic * 5 years minimum of experience working in a similar role within the Utilities industry for Gas Mains Replacement * Mains Replacement specific experience essential, SCO 1,2 & 5, CP and or A.E Status preferable * Be of a practical and logical mindset and a methodical way of thinking * Creative and innovative approach to problem solving * Negotiation and team work skills and the ability to motivate and lead those on site * Track record of working with tight budgets and deadlines * Time-management, workload planning * Exemplary verbal and written communication abilities with good interpersonal skillsSalary negotiable depending on salary – office based roleJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: £53,500.00 per yearSchedule: * 10 hour shiftExperience: * Project Management: 5 years (Required) * Civil Engineering PM: 5 years (Required)
