Job Duties: Reception. This involves the telephone exchange, being the first point of contact for personal callers. The phone calls need to be answered as efficiently as possible. Dealing with the calls is a major part of the position. Face to face customer interaction is also required.Sales. The phone calls are dealt with by the office personnel and pricing and quoting are a major part of the job.Invoice Processing. Orders received to be input on to computer. Delivery notes done from this, if necessary and then invoices. Month end procedures including printing of statements, posting of payments received, etc.Courier Organisation Monitoring debtor days and making payment requests if necessary.Banking. Processing of cheques/cash received to Lodgement stage.Computer. Email, Excel and Word Processing. Social Media advertising and promoting of products. Done deal and Ebay sales. Qualifications / Experience: A good standard of education. 5 GCSEs Grade C or above (including maths and English) or equivalent, RSA Typing or WP.At least two years experience in an office environment.Substantial experience of computerised accounts.Proven experience in sales/accounts with a good knowledge of customer service.Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office i.e. Word, Excel and Email.Excellent communication /negotiation / organisational skills.Be able to meet deadlines and work under pressure.Be able to work under own initiative and within a team.Be able to undertake additional duties, as the company requires.
