Network EngineerPlease ensure you read the below overview and requirements for this employment opportunity completely.Duration: Until 31st May 2021Rate: up to £560pd UMBLocation: Farnborough Job Specification> Practical experience in network design, implementation, configuration and testing (ideally CCNA Qualified) - practical experience of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), compression and acceleration techniques> Specific skills in network security design, implementation, configuration and testing: Firewalls, Guards, Intrusion Detection, IPSec VPN, Computer / router IA lockdown, IP encryption, VOIP> Working under a Senior Engineer or Architect, the candidate will lead smaller tasks and take responsibility for the task's technical output. The applicant will work with the technical management team to identify resources required for the task and provide regular progress updates.> The applicant will be at ease working within a small to medium sized team and be comfortable taking on new tasks outside of their skill set as required by the business.> The applicant will be expected to uphold quality and deliver solutions to budget and time constraints. Solutions must be delivered fully documented so a high standard of written work is expected.> Proactively work with solution architects and aid in the production of (and/ or contributions to) proposals for work (preparation/ justification of work programmes/ plans/ resource estimates)> Lead tasks to ensure delivered solution follow the defined design process and governance procedures and processes through design reviews> Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements in information technology> Build and enhance relationships with peers and Client infrastructure services> Be responsible for undertaking project work across the team as required - participation in reference groups, training and research on new functionality etc.> Working towards becoming recognised as a Network expert within the business> Willingness to travel within the UK and potentially overseasKnowledge, Skills and Experience Required> Knowledge of JSP 604 and 440 and associated JSPs would be desirable.Due to the nature of the role, candidates are required to hold an active SC clearance or be willing to undergo the process.If you feel you would be suitable, please send in your CV
