The RoleTo be successful in this role you will need to possess excellent maintenance skills, be able to work independently and have a right attitude to your work and be able to work well with other members of our team. This position would suit a multi-skilled person.The individual will provide a comprehensive maintenance & repair service to Residential tenants. The person should be skilled at DIY & general maintenance for example; tiling, basic plumbing, joinery, painting and decorating, basic electrical works.Comply with safe working practices & report faulty equipment and potential hazards.The maintenance staff will also keep an inventory and monthly audit of all maintenance tool and equipment.Communicate with tenants in a professional manner and ensuring maintenance cards are left after every job attended to. Provide your own basic tools (specialist ones will be provided).Key skillsPrevious of experience in similar roleAn ability to use initiative to achieve pro-active site maintenance.Building maintenance skills - painting, decorating, joinery and plumbingGood interpersonal/communication skills as this will be a tenant facing role.Carry out works in an efficient and safe manner.Ability to work to deadlines.Good organisational skills.Work well as part of a team.Must have a full clean driving licence.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: £9.00-£19.00 per hour
