Timpson locksmiths are part of the same family business with high street shops up and down the country that have been trading over 100 years.Being a well-known national brand on the high street you will be dealing with other numerous large high street retailers and commercial customers. Operating alongside our shops, you will need to get to know & support the many local branches in your area helping to develop the same quality of service as them on the high street.We are looking to increase our number of locksmith engineers in Ipswich, Colchester and surrounding areas. Existing experience is essential along with bags of enthusiasm, drive, the right attitude and a wide range of locksmithing skills. Not only are we general locksmiths but work on safes and access control where ongoing training in these fields is avaliable.We work for many large commercial customers and because of this the applicant will have to commit to working with us to help provide a 24/7 365 day service with their colleagues which is essential to help service and to continue to secure these contract on which we are all dependant. Involvement would be on a rota basis dependant on location for which special payments are made. For those of you who are up for this great opportunity we have local area teams who are there to support you in generating own leads and building up local business via our high street branches, being actively encouraged to use your own initiative to help grow work in own location.Clean driving license required & DBS Checks will be carried out due nature of the job role.Computer literate will be a great help as will need to complete your own electronic bookwork and use of PDA / Phone, and also many commercial customers ask for us to sign in and out of their on-site systems.Van provided will be sign written, tracker and camera installed, fully stocked, with tools and mobile which are provided. Full PPE is also provided for the safety of our colleagues and customers.There will be paperwork and cash handling involved, and these roles require excellent time keeping and the ability to work under pressure, so you will need an aptitude to have the ability to prioritise and juggle jobs working with our scheduling team in order to meet commercial targets and private customers’ expectations.
