About The Role Due to a rapid increase in orders, we are seeking skilled and experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineers to join our team at Howden. Full time role working any 5 out of 6 days Monday to Saturday. The primary role of the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer is to ensure that the Plant and Production machinery are kept running safely and efficiently during production shifts and maintained and serviced as required whilst following risk assessments and safe working procedures. Responsibilities: Attending breakdowns, fault finding and rectification of faults Maintaining records on MMS systems of breakdowns / PPM's / inspections Carry out daily plant inspections on LEV / dust transfer / compressors Weekly checks on Sprinkler systems / spark detection Monthly checks on various equipment to ensure compliance Carry out PPM inspections and remedial works on production machinery Carry out project work as required Assist with all other site service requirements as they arise About You Skills Required: Time served and qualified C&G, ONC and HNC A flexible approach and a can-do attitude to whatever job arises
