Our client are a global leading engineering business who require a mechanical fitter to join their busy manufacturing team. The right candidate will be apprentice trained to an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent and those with time served backgrounds may also be considered.Role Outlined:You will help ensure the mechanical fitting and assembly standards are achieved in line with the overall set targets. You must be able to work a continental shift pattern which consists of Days and Nights.Daily Duties:Working on a variety of high value projectsStripping gearboxes to base caseCleaning all components and inspecting and replacing where necessaryRebuild gearboxes and testing before dispatchWorking to engineering drawings and tight tolerancesBeing trusted to work on classified drawing and informationMentoring and assisting others and less experienced colleagues If you are interested in the job opportunity above then please apply today to be considered for the role.
