This is a temporary position with immediate start.Our Client is a provider of trusted measurements and workflow solutions that enable the world's analytical, research and diagnostics laboratories to improve the quality of life for us all.In this important role you will be supporting manufacturing operations: Raw material receipt and stock control, polymer product packaging, labelling and shipping. Keeping to the production schedule and to the high level of quality expected by customersLocation: Church Stretton, ShropshireWorking hours: 37.5 per weekHourly Rate: Up to £10.05 depending on experienceKey responsibilities:Working carefully according to EH&S and Quality guidelinesPackaging, labelling and stock control of productsPicking, packing and shipping productsGoods receipt and QC inspectionOperating analytical/test equipmentAccurately recording of all process tasksKeeping the production area clean and organisedContributing ideas and participating in Continuous Improvement projectsRequirementsAbility to accurately follow work instructions and record informationAbility to carry out tasks with good attention to detailOpen and effective communicationGood personal timekeepingGood teamwork skillsWillingness to learn new skills and adapt to new working methodsAdditional experience (desirable)Hands-on work in chemical manufacturingSAP manufacturing systemsSix Sigma or LEAN manufacturing techniquesExperience working to ISO9001 Quality standardsIf this sounds like the role for you then apply now
