Workshop TechnicianImmediate StartsAdecco UK are currently recruiting for a Workshop Technician to join our market leading infrastructure clients team!Location: WorcesterDuration: On-going contractHours: Monday - Friday (8am - 4pm)Job Description:Contributes to the design of detailed solution and executes predefined work packages.Supports all Engineering activities by taking over predefined task, e.g. by preparation of documentations, determination and selection of standard material or maintenance of bills of material.May be specialized in a field of action and work independently on work packages in that field. Hand finishing of parts (typically abrasive blasting)Manual machining of parts (lathe, mill, etc.)Operating; Sieve MachinesHooversLifting EquipmentGrit blastersBasic hand toolsRecord keeping related to the aboveMaintenance & consumables management for the aboveSome cross training with other job functions will be required, e.g: - Inspection & measurement of partsThe Ideal candidate will have the following traits:Ability to work with minimal supervisionAttention to detail; ability to work to defined procedures and accurately record resultsComputer literateGood manual dexterityKnowledge of basic machine tools and workshop skills is essential: Milling, Turning, Bench skills Adecco acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
