Maintenance Coordinator

Experienced PPM & Reactive Maintenance Coordinator required to join an expanding M&E Maintenance Contractor. Hays are working with a local Mechanical & Electrical Services contractor who have been in business for over 50 years. This firm have been providing their M&E expertise on installation and maintenance to a broad client base across the UK and Ireland. In recent years they have developed they Facilities Maintenance offering to compliment their installation and aftercare on larger projects, this has allowed them to gain a strong reputation on reactive and planned maintenance and win new business. Your new role This role is a permanent position with an M&E Maintenance Contractor who are steadily growing their headcount due successfully winning another new long term contract. Based in Belfast, their recently refurbished offices are, located in close proximity to the main arterial routes north and south of Belfast with ample carparking available. Here are a selection of some of the key duties:Logging off all Reactive and Planned Maintenance calls and allocating these to the relevant engineer/sub-contractor. Updating the system on a regular basis and closing out jobs.Liaising with the clients of each contract to ensure contract satisfaction and to close out any major issues that might arise.Contract set up in all systems, in line with the pricing tender.Creation of PPM Schedules and updating same on a regular basis.Monthly PPM to be signed off, collated and submitted to the client, then invoiced in line with tender prices and filed away in line with Helpdesk proceduresTo maintain and update both manual and computer recordsPrepare and issue predefined reports, which form part of the contract and customer requirement.Answering the Helpdesk phone in a timely mannerPreparation of reports and documentationUpdating of electronic recordsCollating timesheets from engineers, chasing and checking quality of data What you'll need to succeed To be considered for this role you must have 3 years experience in a similar role, preferably in the Construction, Property Maintenance or Engineering sector and be able to demonstrate good understanding for technical maintenance reporting. You will have excellent customer services skills along with a professional telephone manner and be fully proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and have experience of using a CAFM system. What you'll get in return Salary £19,000 - £21,000 depending on experience 30 days annual leave including stat days pro rate. Free on site car parking. Working hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm.
