Press Operators perform production support duties that adhere to the production schedule, quality standards, and project specifications. They perform inspections, checks, tests and sampling procedures of standard parts, units, equipment, or materials. They review blueprints, schematics, or other drawings/documentation to determine appropriate machine set up; they may check in-process or completed materials for compliance. They perform audits to ensure standards of quality are maintained and are required to clean the workspace or perform routine maintenance after each production run. Reporting to the Machine Shop Supervisor, the ideal candidate will work with the Machine Shop team working to produce parts to the required quality, standard and to meet the production schedule This is a Night shift role working four nights per week Monday – Thursday 6:00pm – 4:30am. Essential Criteria Ability to interpret engineering drawings; Collaborate with other team members to meet production targets; Excellent communication skills Be enthusiastic and driven Flexible approach to work and a good team player. Desirable Criteria Ability to demonstrate a proven track record in previous Engineering work environments.
