Lubrication Site Leader - County Durham - AerospaceWe are currently recruiting for a Lubrication Technician based in County Durham.We have called the position Site Leader, as the site is a one-man site, so isn’t managing anybody but has more responsibilities than a ‘normal’ Technician role. The position involves 4 days a week on-site and 1 day a week field-based travelling 50 mile radius to other sites to perform servicing/technician duties. This may change to 5 days site based in the future.Typical Duties: * Handling and distribution of lubricants, * Condition monitoring and control of fluids and plant equipment, and reporting. * Day to day involvement in the lubrication programme of plant and equipment in accordance with the requirements of the maintenance schedule to develop an overall understanding of all activities provided to the customer, * Daily and weekly meetings with the site management team, * Machine cleanouts, * Follow strictly practices and procedures laid down including 5s and Health & Safety.We are looking for somebody with a strong mechanical background, ability to drive and lead projects, confident in running and attending meetings, fine with travelling and need a drivers licence.Salary would be between £24,000 - £26,000 per annum
