Lecturer in Renewable Energy Management

Job descriptionWorking in the School of Energy, Construction and Environment, you will be committed to contributing to our continued success in teaching in the field of Energy with a focus on renewable energy management. You will join a School with high levels of teaching quality and student satisfaction and with a focus on experiential learning gained through student projects, innovative simulations and field work in the UK and internationally. You will need a commitment to enhancing our scholarly activities through "Excellence with Impact". You will have wide experience of renewable energy, with expertise in one or more area such as renewable energy project management, transitioning the energy system, energy economics or energy management and auditing. You will be expected to teach both theory and application, at undergraduate and post graduate level and through blended delivery. As well as teaching you will be expected to contribute to scholarly activities of the School in research, commercial enterprise or internationalisation. ? Applicants from industry would be expected to demonstrate experience of training/mentoring and a portfolio of relevant project and professional experience?in?Renewable Energy Management that can be used to inform the teaching and learning experience of our students. Applicants from academia will have experience and success of delivering high-quality teaching and learning opportunities together with a portfolio of funded research and/or industry-linked consultancy activity with associated publication profile.Interviews: 29th March 2021 Start date: 1st August 2021
