Expleo are currently supporting a client based in Turkey in the development of a new fixed wing aircraft, as part of this support we are looking for a number of Lead/Senior Structural Design Engineers. Candidates will have experience of metallic and composite structural analysis and of leading and guiding a team of engineers.This will be an initial 12 month fixed term contract based at our client's facility just outside Ankara, Turkey. The rate/salary will be dependant on the individual's skills and experience. Due to Turkish employment regulations successful candidates will have to enter the Turkish tax system.Ideally candidates will have experience of working on the development of fast jet aircraft but we will consider those from the wider aerospace industryDue to the nature of the work, candidates must be nationals of NATO countries and must be eligible to obtain their national security clearance. We are unable to process applications from candidates outside of the NATO member states.RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for delivery of the structural component in line with the projects requirementsResponsible for definition of structural interfaces with neighbouring componentsResponsible for system installations contained in the componentResponsible for leading the team composed of structural design engineers structural analysis engineers system installation engineers and structural test engineersInterfaces with internal and external customers to present design development outputsInterfaces with procurement and manufacturing to facilitate transition from design to productionReview customer requirements and support decomposition to lower level requirementsQualifications/ExperienceGraduation from Mechanical Aircraft Aerospace or Aeronautical Engineering departmentsExcellent experience in CAD design tools at last 15 yearsDeep knowledge in principles of Structural AnalysisExperience in aircraft structuresMin. 15 years of experience in the relevant areasAdditional Qualifications/ExperienceMSc or Ph.D. in relevant areasBeing the user of the 3D Experience
