Landscaping Contracts Manager £40k-£45k plus Company Car & Private Healthcare Hampshire   The company   Our client is one of the leading Landscaping Contractors in the UK having been trading for almost 30 years. They operate across the South East region with several offices in the likes of Hampshire and Kent. Their services include both soft & hard landscaping, restoration of historic parks & open spaces, specialist surfacing, fencing, site clearance, street furniture & lighting plus much more.   Due to growth, we are currently searching for a Landscaping Contracts Manager.   This is a key role responsible for delivering a high-quality landscaping contracting service. This will include management of large-scale landscaping projects, site clearance, environmental mitigation works, fencing and associated maintenance operations. Including liaison with clients, supervision of assigned personnel and contractors, as well as compliance with all aspects of Health & Safety, environmental and quality standards. The position will also involve promoting the company in the landscaping industry, contributing to the pricing and tender process, and helping to develop on-going landscaping related opportunities.   To be successful and the Landscaping Contracts Manager, we are looking for the following range of skills and experience:Relevant professional qualification in landscaping, horticulture, forestry or other land-based industry. Commercial acumen including accurate cost control, efficient procurement, production of timely valuations and pricing of variations and compensation events. Good contractual awareness including experience of managing works in accordance with NEC3, JCT & JCLI forms of contract. At least five years’ experience in delivering high quality projects. Experience of Construction (Design & Management) Regulations and the preparation of quality plans and safe systems of work. Experience of principle contractor project management inclu\ding liaison with clients, architects and cost consultants. SMSTS competency. Ability to build and maintain good client relationship skills to foster mutual benefits and develop repeat business. • Excellent time management skills. Good IT skills. Ability to works as a team working alongside other managers and staff members across the Region to help develop our landscaping business.
