Our client are seeking a Temporary Isolation Room Manager to join their team based on site in an education setting in Taunton, this role is to start on the 8th March working 34.5 hours Monday - Friday, Term time only until the 21st July, pay rate GBP9.81ph. This role is required to support staff in maintaining high standards of behaviour throughout the school by managing a well-run and highly disciplined Isolation Room as a part of the Ready to Learn behaviour policy. Responsibilities: Supervise students whilst in the Isolation Room, where students will spend time as a part of an Internal Exclusion. Whilst managing the Isolation Room, to maintain a disciplined and purposeful working environment by managing behaviour and ensuring that appropriate and differentiated resources are available for students (e.g. resources, activities, textbooks) and students understand what is expected of them. To support the Reflection Room Manager when necessary and to cover breaks and lunchtimes. Liaise with teachers about the provision of work for students in isolation and ensure completed work is returned to the teaching staff. Ensure the Isolation room is fully resourced at all times, with equipment necessary to enable students to make progress to the best of their ability. Implement strategies to support students with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties, setting challenging and demanding expectations and promoting independence both in the Isolation Room and supporting when necessary in the SEMH Hub.
