Inventory Planner

They have people at their heart and want the best talent to ensure they continue growing and striving.This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to take a supply chain career further and expand their purchasing knowledge.Description·Maintain company inventory, minimising both over-stock and out-of-stock occurrences.·Forecast sales demands and the effect on the supply chain.·Place purchase orders to fulfil forecasted demands.·Ensure purchase order details are accurate to requirements.·Monitor all inventory orders to ensure 100% supply.·Minimise disruption to the supply chain by ensuring suppliers are fulfilling orders on time in full.·Monitor and record non-compliant suppliers.·Optimise shipments to maximise container fills.·Co-ordinate regular inventory checks to ensure products are supplied as specified.·Maintain purchasing system with accurate specification and pricing details.·Ensure purchases do not exceed budgeted requirements.·In order to develop a more effective supply chain, help identify inefficiencies in order fulfilment by suppliers.ProfilePrevious experience in a similar supply chain roleExposure to international purchasing/suppliersAbility to work autonomously Strong computer skills, particularly ExcelJob OfferSalary c£25KWork within a large team
