Together we produce tailored products and customized solutions in pursuit of providing a deeper understanding of the Earth’s subsurface structures for exploration, production and optimization of oil and gas reservoirs.Become Part of our TeamThe Internal Training Lead is responsible for building and delivering a world class internal training program for CGG Geoscience employees. This will involve liaising with the relevant geological businesses to understand their training requirements and working with our experts to build and deliver unique and engaging training courses.Principle AccountabilitiesThe successful candidate will be in charge of leading the development of bespoke internal training courses designed to build and raise our staffs technical skills and ability. The aim of this is the continuation of CGG Robertson being recognized as a world leader in geoscience.You will also provide leadership and direction for staff in developing and delivering training courses. You will work closely with the SI EAME Training Team Leader and the external GeoTraining group in order to ensure consistency and knowledge transfer.The role will require you to find innovative ways to deliver and structure new training courses and ensure the continual development of employees by working both with the business and external course providers where appropriate (e.g. Offshore Survival etc).We are seeking a candidate who has strong leadership and people management skills alongside a passion for training and development. You will have excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to multi task.QualificationsA working knowledge of the main scientific disciplines in RobertsonBSc in geological sciences or related subjectAn MSc or PhD in geology in a geoscience subject is preferred but not essential.
