With continued support for training with a guarantee that personal development will be encouraged and promoted our client is now looking to expand their operations in the Newcastle area.The RoleThis is a fundamental role in the company’s business strategy and requires an individual of a strong construction sales, account management or customers service background. This is an internal Account Management role operating all over the North East of England, you will be responsible for customers when they call the branch with enquiries for the supply of structural steel, rebar or mesh putting together the lists of products they require.This is a reactive sales role requiring no cold calling, managing existing long standing accounts, building strong business relationships and making sure that our clients customers feel well looked after and valued.The application of these products are heavily biased towards, large construction Contractors, Civil Engineering Contractors but also to House Builders, Developers, Ground Works Contractors and Structural Engineering Projects.You will work autonomously but as part of a team in the office advising customers on products, costings and delivery and will play an integral part in the company’s development.The CandidateSuitable applicants must be able to show strong internal account management, sales or customer service capability (personality, enthusiasm, and attitude) of the above markets (construction contractors, merchants and end-users) and be looking for a challenging new role. Sales experience is ideal however applicants must also have experience of dealing at a technical level and must enjoy the technical challenges this role provides.
