Internal Business Development Executive

Advanced Diesel Engineering is a Generator and Switchgear Acoustic housing specialist responsible for the design, manufacture, installation and service of our unique products.To support our continued growth we are looking for experienced Internal Business Development Executives to support our expanding workforce.Do you have experience of Business Development in an engineering setting?The role will include working within an expanding sales team supporting our 4 sites across the UKWe are looking for individuals who are conscientious in their way of working, self-motivated and able to work on own initiative, and who can cope with a high paced Sales environment whether working as part of a team or on their own.Objectives: * Identify Potential Customers * Develop Potential Customers In To Clients * Increase Customer BaseKey Tasks: * Telephone canvassing * Follow up telephone calls * Establish and maintain customer records * Complete daily call sheets * Generate weekly reportsThe ideal candidate will have experience of telephoning prospective and existing customers, following up quotes/queries and updating computerised systems. The role will include maintaining customer records, completing daily call sheets, generating weekly reports and monitoring periodicals.
