Ensure that your CV is up to date, and that you’ve read the job specs first.- £35,839 (Pro-Rata) 0.31 FTE/11 Hours Based at Falkirk Campus We have a vacancy for a suitably qualified instructor assessor with a background in Plumbing and Heating subjects particularly plumbing/heating in domestic and commercial buildings.You should possess a relevant professional qualification at a minimum of HNC/SVQ Level 3 (SCQF level 7) or equivalent with relevant industrial experience.You will be an enthusiastic, committed and flexible individual with ability to deliver high quality training and assessing in a range of settings.You will have a professional approach to dealing with external organisations as well as the ability to coach and build a rapport with students, motivating them to participate successfully in vocational education and training.You will be committed to high quality delivery of provision with high levels of customer service orientation and a focus on continuous improvement.You will develop training and assessment approaches through effective use of training techniques/technologies and maintain master folders to ensure compliance with vocational standards.You will also possess good knowledge and understanding of health and safety requirements and a sound understanding of quality standards.You should also hold a driving licence and ideally Assessor/Verifier awards or equivalent or have a willingness to work towards achieving this award within a set timeline.** Please note the College is currently undergoing a National Job Evaluation process and therefore all salaries are subject to the outcome of this process
