HR Officer Assistant

Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working with an SME business based in Dewsbury to recruit a HR Assistant. I'm keen to hear from HR Assistants with generalist HR experience in HR administration, as well as starting to step up advise and support managers on a range of HR issues including: - Advising and guiding managers and employees on a range of HR issues including first line queries on ER, absence and performance management - Able to give sound advice interpreting policies and procedures - Supporting where necessary on recruitment - Utilise the HR system, accessing information, adding information and changes as necessary - Carrying out HR administration tasks as required from processing starters/leavers, offer letters, disciplinary note taking - Support on payroll processes You will ideally be from a commercial environment, with at least 2 years working with a HR function. Ideally you will be CIPD Level 3 qualified and be able to demonstrate successful and effective relationships with managers, effectively communicating and influencing managers where necessary. You should be highly competent in UK employment law and legislation. You should also be a confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills.
