HR Assistant - Part time hours

Due to continued success, my Darlington based clien is looking to grow their HR function and recruit a HR Assistant to join their small team.If your skills, experience, and qualifications match those in this job overview, don’t delay your application.This is a new role in the structure and will be working closely with the HR & Training Manager to offer a valued and efficient service to all employees across the business.The client is able to offer part-time hours of up to 22.5 per week and these can be flexible to work over 3 or 4 days to suit the successful candidate.The HR Assistant will support the day to day activities relating to recruitment, training and generalist HR support.Key areas of responsibility will be:Arranging interviews and managing candidate experience Book training courses, ensuring all employees complete required updates and maintaining appropriate records As well as providing assistance to the HR Manager as and when required on a range of HR projects.Liaise with universities regarding graduate recruitment Reference and vetting checks Managing offer process, contracts, onboarding and inductions.Assist the HR Manager to produce letters and contracts of employment for any changes in employees’ terms and conditions of employment Update the HR system including filing all relevant documentation Input absence onto the HR system and ensure all documentation is completed Managing holiday entitlement, absence, leavers and all relevant reporting to managers Manage the HR inbox and dealing with first line employee queries This is a great role for an experience HR Administrator/Assistant who is looking for a busy and varied support role.Interviews taking place w/c 25th January 2021 via teams.The role will be home based until further notice.
