We require an HR Advisor to be based in our Newcastle office, you will support a number of business as a generalist but with additional focus on recruitment, this will be a varied role providing advice and guidance to IQA employees in relation to human resource matters in line with current legislation and company policy.HR Advisor - Key Responsibilities:Work as first line response to all HR queries within the companyProvide advice and support on all matters concerning employees, including, performance management, absence, discipline and grievance and supporting all meetingsEnsure that procedures are followed by supervisors/management in all employee mattersAnalyse absence information for the region to spot any trends or potential issues and actionReport monthly on absence to managementSupport the recruitment of new employees, prepare job adverts and advertise using most appropriate methodAssist in sifting of CV’s, interviewing and preparation of contracts of employmentConduct exit interviews with all leavers within the region and ensure that all paperwork is complete, and the leaver process is followedSupport and manage the induction process liaising will all relevant functions and BU’s.Support and manage probation review processAssist HR Manager and HR Business Partner on ongoing HR projects as requiredUndertake monthly reporting to parent company and Managing DirectorAny other duties as and when required by the businessHR Advisor - You:QualificationsDegree in HRM or equivalentCIPD Membership (Associate or working towards membership)RequirementsPrevious experience of similar role preferredAbility to communicate clearly, concisely, and persuasively both verbally and in writingAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesAbility to work on own initiative and to act as an effective team memberWell-developed skills in organising and planningExcellent problem solving skillsGood communication and interpersonal skillsGood PC skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Q-Pulse)Experience of working in a fast-paced environmentFull UK Driving LicenseHR Advisor - Benefits:Salary £25,000 DOE22 days annual holiday, plus 8 statsTo submit your application for this exciting HR Advisor opportunity, please click ‘Apply’ now.Due to the volume of applications we receive we are unable to respond to all applicants.
