Reporting to the Head of HR and working alongside the wider HR team the HR Advisor will be responsible for providing best practice HR advise and guidance. A successful SME comapny with over 100 employees.DescriptionWorking with the wider HR team to provide HR advice and guidance to line managers and employees as requiredSupporting line managers with employee relations cases including grievance, investigations, disciplinary and capability cases in line with the company policy and proceduresProviding advice and guidance to line managers as required for probationary reviews and performance management as requiredResponding to any queries or problems that employees and managers may have Support line managers and supervisors with absence management in line with company policyEnsure that absences are recorded correctly on the HR Portal and are processed correctly on the monthly payrollOversee and coordinate the health initiative assessments for new starters Ensure HR Portal is maintained and kept up to date Support the wider HR team with delivery of HR project initiatives as and when requiredManage the monthly payroll including the processing the monthly payroll spreadsheet and submitting to the third party payroll agencyMaintain and update the group organisational chart on the last working day of the month to be updated on the internal intranetProfileThe ideal candidate will be a solid HR generalist with a good understanding of best practice HR, who has gained their experience within a fast paced environmentMinimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role CIPD qualified to level 5 preferred but not essentialExperience of managing complex ER casework is essentialProficient user of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPointHighly effective personal and interpersonal skillsHighly organised with an agile approachAn excellent communicator who is empathetic with a pragmatic, can do attitudeStrong attention to detail with a critical eye for control and complianceMust be able to maintain confidentiality as requiredGood business acumenJob Offer25 days holidays plus bank holidaysPensionFree parkingEmployee benefits Employee Assistance Programme
