Our client is a leading Highways Term Maintenance contractor based across the South of England operational from their three established offices.They are currently seeking a highly competent civils Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor to oversee amendments to public highways and other roads and bridge projects ranging from £1 million to over £10 million in value working within a friendly team covering projects around the M25, Surrey, East & West Sussex.Knowledge:· Experience working on a variety of Construction Contracts, including NEC3, JCT and 278 works. Highways/Roads and earthworks· Pre and Post contract experience· Preparing Tender and Contract documents· Preparing Bills of Quantities· Risk Management and Cost Control· Sub Contractor Work Allocation· Preparing Accurate Progress Reports· Completed Work Valuations and PaymentsPerson:Ideally candidates will be either HNC or Degree educated, although time served and relevant experience is desirable with a minimum of 3 years commercial roads and highways knowledge.If you are interested then please send an updated CV or phone Mark on (phone number removed)
