In the UK we have offices in Welwyn Garden City, Preston, and Leeds designed with training academies to support your growth, development and potential.If you want to be part of our history, be inspired to succeed, and inspire others to thrive, then maybe this is for you.ACTIVITIESTaking overall leadership responsibility for all technical aspects of Business Unit Roofing & Flooring, you will guide your management team in order to ensure alignment with the business goals.• Leadership and responsibility of Internal and External technical output for BU Roofing & Flooring, seeking to continually improve and implement change as appropriate in order to reduce and manage risk. • Manage teams to deliver single source technical processes across BU Roofing & Flooring.• Form strong links with R&D in order to identify innovation and increase technical expertise.• Recognise and identify market risks and ensure a robust Sika approach. Ensure compliance with all applicable legislation and industry standards. Ensure that processes are robust and adhered to in order to mitigate risk for Sika.• Form close links with corporate Target Market heads.• Lead innovation and growth through the LET process. Deliver a positive and valuable LET.• Represent Sika as required by attending key industry professional and legislative body meetings. Liaise with Governing bodies and professional affiliations in order to position Sika correctly. Ensure high level presence, thought leadership and market leadership within trade organisations.• Work closely with BBA and other accreditation bodies.• Identify and bridge knowledge gaps within our existing capabilities.• Through leadership, coaching and support. Drive performance management to ensure the function continues to be high performing with increased levels of capability. Manage resourcing requirements by identifying and developing plans to facilitate future needs.• Use knowledge, skills, experience and expertise to realise synergies across product ranges and offerings, particularly LAM and Flooring.• Develop Technical Strategy and deliverable KPI’s for Roofing and Flooring (initially for 2021-2025).
