Generator Field Service EngineerWe are currently recruiting for a Home-Based Generator Field Service Engineer covering various areas throughout the UK.The Role:Maintenance of diesel generators both on site as well as working out of our workshop.Mechanical and electrical engineering knowledge and knowledge of Diesel Generators and Generator Controls would be preferred.Main Duties: * Carry out major and minor services to diesel engine generator sets at customer sites & on occasion at our workshop as required. * Load testing of generators at our customer sites & on occasion at our workshop as required. * Emergency call outs to customer breakdowns (rota basis). * Carrying on site repairs. * Ad hoc tasks within the workshop as required * Attendance at relevant product training courses * Control system wiringQualifications: * Mechanical engineering.Ideally, we are looking for an experienced generator field service engineer with good experience on one or more of the following diesel generators: * FG Wilson * SDMO * CAT * Cummins * Aska * Mitsubishi * John Deere * Perkins * ScaniaJob Type:Full-timeSalary:£15p/h
