We are currently looking to recruit a gas or diesel generator engineer to join the team in Widnes.Your key responsibilities:Core Activities * A service as per SWI * B service as per SWI * New fleet acceptance * Be able to carry out control equipment replacement and parameter change * Multi generator synchronising * Minor and major repair of all fleet * Pre dispatch inspectionsElectrical * Basic electrical fault finding < 1500v dc and <1000v ac * Alternator configuration * Load testing of fleet * Low voltage switching * Low voltage maintenance * Low voltage isolation * Carry out main alternator maintenance processEducation / Qualifications * Mechanical and or Electrical apprenticeship * Alternatively, a City & Guilds/ONC or equivalent in mechanical or electrical engineering. * Prior experience servicing/repairing diesel/gas generators
