Due to ongoing demand they wishto recruit General Operative – Material Separatorand Material Processor for an immediate start. General Operatives are responsible forvarious aspects of the production process. Working in one area or across thesite to meet the needs of preparation, kitting and fabrication support. Key Duties/Responsibilities include butmay not be limited to: Knocking Out ·Separate and sort materials post laser cuttingand distribute to the next stage of the fabrication process. Sheet metal worker ·Assist in a variety of metal work preparationactivities including the cutting of sections, flow forge etc, the shaping andforming of tubing and plates, drilling and slotting of parts ·Work from lists and drawings to pull togethercompleted kits for the next stage of the production process, ensuring thatparts are quality checked and clearly labelled. Essential Criteria: ·2+ years’ experience working with a variety of tool, materials andequipment. Ensure effective use of the tools to get the job done quickly and ina safe manner. ·Demonstrate that you have taken responsibility for quality,quantity and inspection of work performed. ·Experience of interpreting drawings and separatingcomponents/material for the next stage of production ·Good understanding of customer deliverables and the impact offailure and cost of poor quality ·Strong team player with the ability to communicate effectively Desirable Criteria: ·Valid forklift license.
