Job Duties: To carry out various tasks in our busy warehouse. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating pipe production line equipment, finishing products and reporting any issues with equipment directly to management.Key responsibilities will include:Operating speciality machinery to fabricate, manufacture, assemble or move pipe.Maintain and monitor machines to make sure that they function properly.Understand how operated machinery works.Carry out basic quality checks and testing checks.Ensure adequate materials and supplies are available to complete operations as required.Monitor the production process.Store goods and raw materials properly in the warehouse.Maintain area and equipment - good housekeeping of the work area. Qualifications / Experience: Good standard of education.Strong communication skills and organisational skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.Able to work on foot for extended periods of time.Desirable:Previous experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment but not essential.Some mechanical experience or aptitude.
