Gas Heating & Plumbing Engineer– Commercial and Domestic

David Lewis is an employer of choice. We are looking for a Gas Heating and Plumbing Engineer who is qualified to work on both commercial and domestic plumbing and gas installations. The Engineer will lead on high quality and cost effective gas heating and plumbing installation and fitting projects; service repairs, maintenance and planned improvement services to David Lewis. They will work across all properties within the David Lewis estates completing works in accordance with relevant Gas Safe specifications and in compliance with relevant legislation and industry best practice.In addition, the Engineer will work closely with other members of the wider Site Services team, measure and order materials and equipment for jobs, supervise contractors and support and mentor an apprentice when required.Candidates must be experienced engineers with a focus on safety, a high standard of work, customer service and the ability to self-motivate and problem solve working with minimal supervision. The successful candidate must also hold a full UK driving license and all, or the majority of, the following qualifications/ certifications or be willing to work towards:- * CENWAT Domestic C/H boilers and water heating appliances * CPA1 Combustion performance analysis * CNN1 Domestic natural gas safety * CODNC01 Changeover domestic- commercial heating * ICPN1 Commercial pipework (35mm * TPCP1A Test & Purge UP/1A * CCP1 Commercial plant * HWSS Hot Water Systems and Safety (including G3 unvented HWS)Experience of the installation of all forms of water and gas pipes. * Knowledge of ACOP L8 (Control of Legionella)David Lewis provides outstanding education, residential, medical and therapeutic support for people with learning disabilities, epilepsy and autism for people aged 16 years and over.
