Job One Our client is one of the UK's largest providers of Social Housing Repairs and Maintenance, who are now looking to recruit additional personnel to join their Gas Engineering teamGas Breakdown Engineer is neededAll Engineers will need to have ACS qualifications, The work will be long term and is working for one of the big players in the gas industry that is very busy. The is a permanent role (temp to perm after around 13 weeks)The rate of pay is around 29k per year based on 45 hours (£12.50 per hour) but most engineers are earning 33k + if happy to do overtime and on call etc, our client also supplies gas safe cover, a vehicle, a fuel card and some KITJob Two Gas Service Engineer is neededAll Engineers will need to have ACS qualifications, The work will be long term and is working for one of the big players in the gas industry that is very busy. The is a permanent role (temp to perm after around 13 weeks)The rate of pay is around 29k per year based on 45 services (£12.50 per service) but most engineers are earning 33k + if happy to do overtime and on call etc, our client also supplies gas safe cover, a vehicle, a fuel card and some KITJob Three Gas Installer is needed, engineers will ideally have CRB clearance although NOT essential, all candidates will need to have ACS qualifications, the work will be long term and is working for one of the big players in the gas industry that is very busy, each install job is paid X amount of hours at £12.50 for example so for combi swap with fitting RF stat 11 hours = £137.50 (most engineers do this in 4/5 hours but still get paid the set 11 hours = £137.50) 19 hours for a conversion = £237.50 (again if completed sooner still get paid the set 19 hours) There are other jobs also, like removing fire, block up opening and plaster we pay engineers 4 hours to complete (£50) Other works are required like odd breakdowns but this is charged hourly rate, along with radiator works, basic day to day remedial's if applicable will be paid hourly. Engineers earn a very good hourly rate on this contract with the hours completed compared to money paid. Our client also supplies gas safe cover, a vehicle, a fuel card and a kit. We are ideally looking for an all round Gas Fitter who can also do brick up and plaster.
