Job Category: Construction Job Location: Walsall, West Midlands (County), United Kingdom Gas Engineer / Heating Engineer £34,463 per annum Walsall, West Midlands Contract: Permanent and FTC opportunities available 37 hours per week Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Gas Engineer to join them on a full-time temporary contract (up to 12 months with the possibility of being extended) or full time basis, with an immediate start where possible. Joining their Home Maintenance team, you will support repairs, testing and maintenance work on domestic and other company owned properties. Main job responsibilities: * To undertake gas testing and inspection of occupied and empty properties ensuring excellent customer service and high standards of gas safety. * To undertake servicing, maintenance and installation of central and gas heating systems in line with whg and manufacturers" guidelines. * To drive and maintain a company vehicle in accordance with their vehicle policies and the Highway Code, ensuring the safety and security of any load at all times, including stock and tools. * To ensure that all relevant documentation is completed and returned in accordance with deadlines. * To ensure that risk assessments, quality procedures and work instructions are adhered to.
