The successful Gas Engineer will be working on commercial buildings including schools, pubs, churches, and factories. Experience on these sites is therefore highly desirable. The client is a respected mechanical contractor, experienced in the fields of specialist gas installation, commercial M&E, facilities maintenance, domestic plumbing and heating, system disinfection and industrial pipework/gas installation. Key Duties for a Gas Engineer: Working on varied projects, on commercial sites;Carrying out installations, servicing, maintenance, and repairs on domestic systems. Gas Engineer Person Specification: Must have an accredited commercial gas engineer qualification (i.e. an NVQ);Must have experience/be working on commercial projects currently;A high level of gas and plumbing skills and knowledge;A full, clean, driver's license;Willing to undergo a DBS disclosure. Desirable for a Gas Engineer: Commercial Catering Qualifications (COMCAT);Renewables Qualification;LPG;Plumbing Qualification;Specialist Gases experience/qualification;Experience working with Oil;Electrical maintenance experience/qualifications;Current CSCS card.
