Job Description The duties of the gas engineer are:PPM - covering all Mechanical, Combustion gas worksReactive MaintenanceFault Finding and plant adjustments.Check and inspection of mechanical services, plant and systems.Execution of maintenance and corrective tasks in accordance with contract specification.General duties will require mechanical combustion discipline to carry out work such as servicing of boiler, domestic and commercial heating plant, fault finding to systems, motors, generators, AHUs along with cleaning of foul water systems, drains, inspections and repair of M&E systems such as extract and supply air ductwork systems, plumbing and heating systemsHealth and safety awareness The Successful Applicant The successful Gas Engineer will:Be confident/capable with mechanical property maintenance in medium to large sized properties. Hold Gas Safe Qualifications COCN1, ICPN1, CIGA1, CDGA1, TPCP1, TCP1A, CCN1, CENWAT (CODNCO1 changeover is a must)You will have a proven track record working across Domestic & Commercial property ideally for a Building and Construction business or large Facilities Management provider. Carrying out a range of works across properties, plant rooms exposure is essential. PFI contract exposure will be beneficial. Be based in Exeter or within close radius Have experience working on a mobile basis, building relationships on multiple sites. Customer focused individual with a proactive approach to working. What's on Offer The Gas Engineer is offering:Paying between £35,000 - £37,000Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per weekOvertime available and on call rota. Vehicle & fuel card provided along with full PPE. Holiday days 35 per annum + Pension auto enrolment.Great working environment and fantastic business.
