Contract Type: Temporary, Part time Our client based in Farlington, Hampshire are currently seeking Gardening Operatives to work in and around the Portsmouth areas. Duties to include:Working with hedge trimmers, lawn mowers and various other pieces of machineryVerge cutting, hedge trimming, cutting grass and maintaining parks and open spacesWorking both in a team and on your own on set routes to make sure that all aspects of maintenance are carried out to a high standardBeing aware of health and safety at all times to ensure that jobs are completed in a safe mannerIdeal candidates will possess to following skills:Previous experience of working outdoorsPrevious experience of working with machineryPrevious experience in grounds maintenance or a similar roleThe ability to work unsupervised to a high standardCertification in PA1, PA2 or PA6 sprayingFull UK Driving Licence with experience in driving a vanFor this position you require PA1 and PA6 tickets, as you will be spraying chemicals.£8.72-£9.69 after a qualifying period, weekly pay.Monday to Friday 0730 - 1600.This is a seasonal position with an immediate start so call now to apply!
