We have a fantastic opportunity for a Multi-modal Freight forwarder to join a Freight Forwarding & supply chain solutions company, arranging the import and export of freight via Sea, Air or Road, based in Falkirk. Salary negotiable based upon experience. The successful candidate for the role will ideally have gained experience of working in Freight Forwarding and arranging international Import and Export shipments for both Full Load and Part Load freight.Key responsibilities: * Arrange bookings and liaise with customers and suppliers, overseas agents and network partners etc. * Obtain rates and negotiate transport costs* Arrange collections and deliveries* Checking schedules and keeping the customers updated on ETA's* Complete all Freight administration* Organising of Temperature controlled shipments * Completing Customs entries and declarationsExperience:* Experience with handling customs entries* Experience in transporting temperature controlled shipments* Previous work within Road or Sea Freight * Imports Coordination background Search is an equal opportunities recruiter and we welcome applications from all suitably skilled or qualified applicants, regardless of their race, sex, disability, religion/beliefs, sexual orientation or age.
