A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse Operator within our client`s busy warehouse in the Campsie Industrial Estate in Derry. The successful candidate will work in a well-organised, efficient, and busy warehouse preparing goods for distribution to customers. The successful candidate will work primarily as a Warehouse Operator and will use Counterbalance and Reach forklifts throughout each day. The duties of the role will include loading and unloading the pallets, wrapping the products on the pallet in protective cellophane, transporting goods throughout the site via Pallet Trucks and Forklifts, transporting goods to the Warehouse, placing products on the storage shelves via the Forklifts, adhering to Health & Safety policies and procedures, and working within a team.The ideal candidate is someone with a Reach licence and a year`s experience operating within a Warehouse. A Reach licence is preferable but a Counterbalance licence may be accepted if the candidate doesn't have a Reach licence. The Forklift Operator will be working 38 hours per week between Monday and Friday and on a 24-hour rota. The shifts are 0800-1600, 1600-0000, and 0000-0800.Our client focuses heavily on Health & Safety at Work practices and on providing an efficient, accurate, and quality service to their internal and external customers.
