Flat Roofing Estimator *Urgently Needed*Novax recruitment are currently looking for an experienced/senior Estimator on behalf of one of our clients. Working closely with their commercial team you will be responsible for producing accurate estimates / submission of tenders as well as expanding their current client base. The role will suit a well organised and motivated individual who is approachable and well-mannered with a proven track record of securing Business. You will require a firm grounding in the roofing industry and an experience of Single Ply, Hot Melt and Felt roofing systems. The role has come about due to a high demand in our clients services with a number of new contracts recently secured. Key DutiesPopulating Bills of Quantities/ producing take offsProducing/ Submitting tendersNegotiating/ securing projectsLiaise with suppliers to material/ plant quotationsGenerating opportunities with new clients as well as ensuring current clients remain satisfiedResponding to/ producing emailsAccurately producing Materials and plant ordersReconciling material orders and purchase invoicesKey Skills and QualitiesMinimum 2 years Estimating experienceKnowledge of Single ply, Hot Melt and Felt roof systemsWell-motivated and a desire for continuous developmentPersonal attributes- self-motivated, desire to progress, proactive, intelligent, well organised, calm and professionalComputer literacy- experience of MS Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)Well organised and able to work independently and on own initiativeAccurate and attention to detailGood written and verbal communication skills are essentialNumerical and mathematical skillsHours and Work EnvironmentThe role involves working predominantly in an office environment, however, occasional site visits to our projects will be required. The role is circa 40 hours per week, with working hours to be agreed with successful applicant (between 8am to 5pm)Salary- circa £45,000 per annum
