Business Overview:We are the largest dedicated painting and maintenance contractor in the UK both in terms of our directly employed workforce and geographical coverage.We directly employ 1600 skilled members of staff and have a projected turnover of approximately £102 million for the current financial year, all directly relating to our core business of property maintenance and refurbishment works.Whilst maintaining our position as market leader, Bell Group remains a family-owned and operated company.For additional information on Bell Group, please visit our website or LinkedIn page.Bell Group is proud to be an Equal Opportunity and Living Wage Employer.Key Responsibilities:Assist in gaining divisional third party accreditations by developing staff and operatives skills and ability’s through continuous training and support.Managing and Carrying out Technical Quality Assurance audits to ensure passive fire management & management systems remain complaint Constant review of technical data from suppliers to ensure materials meet the requirements of both British & European standards.Provide clear and consistent feedback to Contracts Managers & Supervisors within agreed timescales.Strategize growth and develop a management hierarchy which is both supported and sustained.Liaise with site Supervisors/Sub contractors and clients to ensure they are kept up to date with the external accreditation requirements Interpret technical drawings and written instructions for use when inspecting worksEnsure up to date knowledge of legal requirements, ensuring the company achieves compliance at all timesAccurately maintain and manage all relevant records and databases relating to work processedAssist with accreditation audits e.g.FIRAS & ASFPGenerate and issue reports and KPI data to the Fire Protection ManagerContribute to the ongoing improvement of the Quality Assurance processKnowledge / Experience: ·        Time served ·        Third party accreditation ·        Fire Inspection diploma·        Fire door inspection training preferred ·        Level 2 ASFP ( not essential) ·        Must be fully familiar regulations – Doc B, Regulatory Reform order and of course likely imminent changes. Applications directed to: Colin Cochrane, DirectorBranch: Based in Airdrie to cover Scotland
