Great opportunity for a confident and ambitious Field Service Engineer to join an expanding field service team in the South of the UK.You will be responsible for the installation/service/maintenance and validation of gas chromatography, mass spectrometry and thermal desorption systems at customer sites covering the southern half of the UK, including commercial laboratories and universities.To be suitable for this position, you will be a confident engineer with experience of service/repair of GC and/or GC-MS systems. Applications are also invited from onsite instrument engineers or skilled chromatography users who have strong troubleshooting and maintenance experience from their laboratory career.You must be willing to travel extensively, including occasional trips to mainland Europe at short notice.
