Could this be you?About the Role:This role is to support individuals at our supported living service in Sheffield. Here, you will support adults with learning disabilities and physical disabilities with all aspects of every day living.As a superhero “Support Worker” you will deliver the highest quality support with all aspects of everyday living to encourage their independence and support them to lead the most fulfilling life possible, incorporating both therapy and social based activities.Whilst no two days are the same typically, you’ll help the people we support with everyday challenges such as personal care, meal preparation, housekeeping, medication, attending health appointments, maintaining relationships and taking part in hobbies & activities. Crucially, enabling them to carry out tasks, chores and hobbies that most people take for granted but are meaningful to the people we support.Due to the needs of the individual you will be supporting previous experience with learning disabilities is required.We have a full-time role which would include both day and night shifts.
