Simply read the full description below to get a complete picture of candidate requirements.- Fabric Maintenance Operative Location- Corsham Reporting to- Building Operations Supervisor Desired Experience & or Qualifications * At least one trade qualification (carpentry, plumbing, painting/decorating) * Multi skilled / multi trade experience * Previous Maintenance Experience within a Commercial Setting * Previous Building Fabric Maintenance experience Typical Duties Working on a Static Site in the Corsham area on behalf of a major Facilities Management company you will be required to carry out all General Building Maintenance.* Undertake maintenance duties as required to the building fabric inside & out, making sure all paperwork /documents are accurately completed within specific timescale.* To provide a flexible approach to working practices within the dedicated facilities team which involve general maintenance duties & undertaking a range of minor repairs, for example: Fabric repairs to internal / external walls, floors (tiling / brick sets), joinery (door locks, rehanging, furniture repairs) painting, minor civil works (brick / paving stone laying) * Electrical repairs- basic fault find, lamp changes, emergency lighting and power generation.* Mechanical repairs – plumbing / tap repairs – leaks, drain blockages, L8 water checks, meter reading.* Other works as commensurate with the grade, personal abilities & experience * Maintain service records, complete service reports as appropriate, and produce accurate documentation as required and to keep up-to-date records of statutory inspections.* Undertake minor quoted works from initial outset, through installation to completion as required whilst completing all required documentation * Assist other members of the maintenance team in carrying out maintenance, repairs, testing, inspection & installation work * Liaising with suppliers and 3rd party contractors to ensure the efficient running of the site
