Requirements:- Main duties * Working on a variety of large and small scale bid proposals. * Officed based (Welwyn Garden City) with occasional travel to site * Liaise with the projects and operational teams on bids & tenders * Deliver survey and bid work. Completing quantity take-offs. Experience/ Qualifications required: * Estimating experience for passive fire, fire doors and building works experience is essential * Quantity take-offs experience * Have a relevant QS/Construction Qualification (highly desirable but not essential) * Survey and pricing up experience * Bill of quants experience * Schedule of rates experience * Minimum of 2 years" experience with a UK main contractor within the Passive Fire Protection sector * Ability to measure accurate quantities from drawings * Good understanding of commercial issues relating to tenders
